Matrix vertical mixer forage harvester, what it does

Matrix forage wagon is the ideal machine for processing of fibrous products, whether dry or wet, then straw, hay, grass, corn stalks and so on. The machine is efficient with both round and prismatic bales to be distributed on the litter, in the cubicle or in the feeder, but let's see how it works.

How it works

The Matrix vertical mixer wagon can load the product from the tailgate. This is then conveyed inside the box until it reaches the cutter rollers which are equipped with knives. The knives cut the product and then unload it on the distribution fan. From here it is blown towards the upper rotating drain.

The length of the cut can be adjusted by acting on the speed of the cutter rollers, which are available as standard on two speeds, and then by adjusting the speed of advancement of the loading belt. The length can be selected from about 5 to 10 cm, the measure varies according to the type of product.

Furthermore, the machine is equipped with a fork which is positioned in front of the cutter rollers and which can be adjusted.

What are the technical characteristics of the machine

The carving cutters that are inside the body have two speeds of rotation, they are therefore suitable for cutting both dry and wet packaged products. The gearbox is two-speed. The lower mat has a reinforced chain with adjustable feed rate.

The tailgate is reinforced and able to load the bale directly.
