The Matrix series “Rover Up” and “Rover Jumbo Up” self-propelled mixer wagons are machines with one and two technologically innovative vertical augers respectively that meet the needs of the most demanding breeders. The peculiarities of Rover Up and Rover Jumbo Up are the mechanical transmission of the auger by multi-disc clutch in oil bath, the hydraulic suspension on the front axle for maximum operator comfort and, on request, the speed change of the Powershift auger . The translation of the machine and the operation of the cutter are ensured by closed circuit hydraulic systems with variable displacement piston pumps and
high pressure piston engines.

The monolithic structure of the frame makes it possible to have a very robust machine, able to withstand the many stresses to which it is subjected in the milling and mixing phase or during movements. The choice of using special steels and reinforced components makes these machines suitable to withstand heavy work loads and travel long distances. The results are a powerful and comfortable machine, a uniform unifeed, time and energy savings, high reliability, happier animals and satisfied breeders.

  • Electronic weighing system is equipped with 4 stainless steel sensors, therefore highly reliable because they are resistant to rust and humidity, with a load capacity of 7500 kg each. The display in the cabin is graphic and touch screen, through the various possible settings it allows you to program multiple recipes and manage loads and discharges.
  • Front or rear steering wheel at the discretion of the customer for single-auger rovers, the Rover Jumbo Up twin have front steering and rear transmission. Both can have 4 drive wheels (optional on request), the Rover Up double-auger also 4 steering wheels (optional on request). Both have power steering and a very short wheelbase which reduces the turning radius.
  • The monocoque frame,  without welding, is very robust and resistant to the stresses that it receives in particular during milling operations against the silage wall.
  • The large-sized radiator, fitted with large clogging mesh, is positioned so as to facilitate access and cleaning, separated from the hydraulic oil heat exchanger. It can be equipped on request with reversible fan.
  • The front cutter is composed of a 2-meter-wide drum with a high-pressure Linde pump that makes it extremely powerful (about 105 kW) and a loading channel 700 mm wide with rubber band with vulcanized stringers.
  • The milling drum and the loading belt are independent of each other and both can be reversed.
  • The milling drum is equipped with hydraulic protection and knives with adjustable inclination for a more or less aggressive load depending on the product
  • The stepladder and the large inspection platform allow a control of the mixing phase inside the tank in total safety. The stepladder can be opened ensuring easy access for the maintenance of the electrical installation box, the hydraulic distributors and the air filter
