Rover Alpha series self-propelled mixer wagons

The Rover Alpha series maintains the mechanical transmission of the augers with multi-plate clutch in oil bath and of the Powershift gearbox, a technical innovation already known and tested on the Rover Up series.

Feed and cutter use a hydrostatic system with pumps and piston motor from Bosch-Rex Roth, to reaffirm an uncompromising build quality.

Rover Alpha wagons are fitted with 4-cylinder engines from 126 to 170 HP and can be road approved on request.

The silage cutter can safely load fibrous products directly from the bales.

Ultimately once again we offer customers a self-propelled mixer wagon that guarantees a perfect unifeed in terms of mixing and cutting of the fiber, with a fast, reliable, simple, compact machine, with low management and maintenance costs, thus making the investment extremely advantageous for entrepreneurs and / or breeders who look to the future.

How the Rover Alpha project was born

In order to improve, together with our customers (both dealers, importers and final customers), we have set ourselves the corporate mission to pay the utmost attention to the needs of breeders.
There is a range of small to medium-sized companies in which a self-propelled mixer wagon would be very functional, but which are held back on purchase both for the size of the machines and for economic reasons.
The Rover Alpha project was created to provide a compact, manageable, simple and functional product, which has a cost that is consistent with this type of company.

We have identified cubes of 13 and 15 cubic meters for the single-auger wagon and of 17/18 cubic meters for the twin-auger, as the most suitable for developing this new project and optimized the structure of the machine and the components on these cubes.
Mixer wagons of small cubic sizes are also present in the Rover Up / Rover Jumbo Up and Formula / Formula Jumbo series, but evidently in designing a range of machines that reach up to 40 cubic meters we find ourselves having small cubic machines oversized in many parts.
By concentrating instead on a project made "from scratch" on this unifeed wagon sizing and by standardizing the product as much as possible, we have obtained a reduction in construction costs while still guaranteeing perfect functionality and reliability of the machine.
